A 23 km da Porto di Manado, Rimba eco Resort propone oltre agli alloggi anche un ristorante, un giardino, una terrazza e un bar. The property is in the middle of nature with great views and a lovely common area where you can run into and socialize with other guests (if you like!). No place like this elsewhere in Tomohon and I feel it really adds value to the area. The hosts Arno and Anggi were so so lovely and so was the staff. Good communication, helpful and loved to chat with them. They really made me feel like home and actually makes me want to return to Tomohon. Tomohon’s Minahasa wetlands are a dream!

Cocotinos Lembeh a Boutique Dive Lodge si trova a Bitung e prevede WiFi gratuito, piscina all’aperto, giardino e zona spiaggia privata. This diving and hotel were amazing. The guides were very knowledgeable. I really appreciated the hot towel post dive, I would recommend for anyone wanting to dive Lembeh.I also stayed at a five star resurt across the straight but enjoyed Cocotinos more.

Lorenso himself is THE MAN of the island, if you’re looking to go diving, Lorenso’s uncle is the go to, if your looking for a bar Lorenso’s cousin knows, if you’re looking to remove a body, Lorenso knows someone. Lorenso himself (aka ‘Papa’) is well established in the No. 1 band in Bunaken soon to hit the international charts. Furthermore Lorenso is just an all round good bloke, gave me a cig when I was out, sorted transport for us, gave me his lighter when I lost mine, set up my friend with some French ladies (to no avail) and treated us like family.
