If I could give a higher score than 10 I would! This place is in an unbelievable location, right on the edge of the national park. 3 days I was there I saw orangutans on the property and lots of other monkeys in the trees outside my balcony. Yes, it is a steep climb to get here but if you are doing a jungle trek you will need to walk up past the property to get to the national park anyway. If you arrange transport through them they will send someone to help with your bags. The food in the restaurant is amazing and very reasonably priced and there is lots of variety so you don’t even need to leave the property for meals! I got laundry done as well which was a bonus. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I did the 2D/1N jungle trek with Orangutan Bungalow and it was incredible! The guides were fabulous, the food was wonderful and we saw so much wildlife that it was almost overwhelming at times. Yes there are bugs and geckos around but you are in the jungle so it’s to be expected. If you want sterile accommodation with air conditioning then you will have to pay a lot more than you pay staying here. Don’t stay anywhere else!

Se lo trabajan y eso nota y sobre todo se agradece. Asique recomendadisimo este lugar y sin duda para repetir!! 🙂

The architecture of room that is like the batak traditional house. Comfortable even though there is no fan or air conditional. The family room is spacious. The resort has nice landscape garden. There is a vegetable farm beside the accommodation. Have nice view of Gunung Sinabung. Although breakfast is not included, it's cafe also serves delicious western food. Like the quiet yet calming of the atmosphere of the hotel. Highly recommended!

Contando con vista al mar, AAL Homestay en Sabang cuenta con hospedaje, un jardín, una zona de playa privada y una terraza. Small apartment with private bathroom and western shower. Balcony with Sea view. Only 10 meters to the Ocean (private beach). Free drinking water and hot water. It’s possible to buy coffee and small goods at the hostel. The owner is very kind. Bed is big and comfortable. Fan is enough to keep the room cool with open windows.

Brown Bamboo Guest house & trekking bukit Lawang está situado en Bukit Lawang, tiene vista a la montaña, WiFi gratis y estacionamiento privado de cortesía. Es un hotel que está muy bien de precio, bien centrado, cerca de la entrada del parque y a pocos minutos del pueblo. La cama es amplia y la habitación igual para dejar todo el equipaje. Hay una lavandería económica al lado del hotel. La comida está muy buena y muy bien de precio. El personal es súper simpático. No hay agua caliente pero con el calor que hace en esta latitud pues no la necesitas. Como extra hay que pagar por el aire acondicionado unos 3 euros pero es opcional.
