Majutusasutus asub Kalapathari rannast 300 meetri kaugusel. The Forest Elephant - Endine tuntud kui Flying Elephant pakub terrassi ja aiaga majutust. Loved the rustic vibes of the cottage as well as the surroundings. The dim warm lighting of the cottage complemented the aesthetics of the place really well. I especially loved the concept of the open roof bathroom. Loved that the bed was on the mezzanine floor. Sanjay's massage sessions we availed at the resort were wonderful too. Cannot end the review without two special mentions- the dog who graciously spent the night at our cottage sit out, being our guard for the night and the cat who was sitting right infront of our door and greeted us first thing in the morning.

Emerald Gecko asub Havelocki saarel. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus, aed, erarand ja restoran. Mõnel majutusruumil on istumisnurk ja/või rõdu. Läheduses saab matkata. This is rustic accommodation not far from the beach with its own restaurant serving delicious and fresh food. The people who run it are really friendly and helpful. They organised transport for us around the island in a tuk tuk. We enjoyed walking along the beach and swimming when it was high tide.

Havelock and Neil Island are now getting places with all the modern conveniences which you find everywhere. If you are looking for that don´t go to the Emerald Gecko. This place is different - and that´s the beauty of it. The bungalows are made of wood, bamboo and natural materials and are wonderfully integrated into the beach area. You will find everything you need and you won´t find all the things which are superfluous and are part of tourism today - or what people are looking for, at least most of them. This is definitely the wrong path as I think because you destroy places, sooner or later they all look the same, not to talk about the ecological footprint you leave behind at your holiday destination. The Emerald Gecko is as things should be and only at such places you can catch a glimpse of the real beauty of the islands - listen to the birds singing in the morning, feel the sand under your feet when you go outside and climb a wooden ladder to sleep in a place under a mosquito net - enjoy all that in a laid-back atmosphere.
