Gististaðurinn er 300 metra frá Kalapathar-ströndinni. The Forest Elephant - áður þekkt sem Flying Elephant, býður upp á gistingu með verönd og garði. Loved the rustic vibes of the cottage as well as the surroundings. The dim warm lighting of the cottage complemented the aesthetics of the place really well. I especially loved the concept of the open roof bathroom. Loved that the bed was on the mezzanine floor. Sanjay's massage sessions we availed at the resort were wonderful too. Cannot end the review without two special mentions- the dog who graciously spent the night at our cottage sit out, being our guard for the night and the cat who was sitting right infront of our door and greeted us first thing in the morning.

This is rustic accommodation not far from the beach with its own restaurant serving delicious and fresh food. The people who run it are really friendly and helpful. They organised transport for us around the island in a tuk tuk. We enjoyed walking along the beach and swimming when it was high tide.
