Laugarfell Accommodation & Hot Springs is located in the Eastern Highlands and is at the border of Vatnajökull National Park. Labai norėjome šios vietos viskas pasiteisino su kaupu. Vieta tiesiog išskirtinė! Turėjom 2 nakvynes, paėmėm pilną maitinimą( 2 pusryčiai ir 2 vakarienės) ir jautėmės kaip kurorte. Labai patiko karštos vonios kieme. Puikūs žygiai.

We were very well welcomed by the owner and his friends. Since it was low season for fishing, and there was no extra staff, we had a restaurant kitchen at our beck and call. The room has a nice view of the rear garden and the ensuite bathroom was clean and new.

Situated 38 km from Hengifoss, Vinland Camping Pods features accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a shared kitchen for your convenience. The camping pod is something very different from all the others. I think its a must to experience a night in a camping pod. You have to walk for the shower/toilet and the main area/kitchen - so it's something different. You can park exactly infront of the camping pod. It was self-check in, so it was a couple of seconds until we checked in. Showers were great. Also a perfect area to see the northern lights - which we did :D There is a very small park with reindeers. The kitchen is enormously huge and also has a small billiard :)
