We were very well welcomed by the owner and his friends. Since it was low season for fishing, and there was no extra staff, we had a restaurant kitchen at our beck and call. The room has a nice view of the rear garden and the ensuite bathroom was clean and new.

Obiekt Vinland Camping Pods znajduje się w miejscowości Egilsstaðir i oferuje bezpłatne Wi-Fi, bezpłatny prywatny parking oraz widok na ogród. The camping pod is something very different from all the others. I think its a must to experience a night in a camping pod. You have to walk for the shower/toilet and the main area/kitchen - so it's something different. You can park exactly infront of the camping pod. It was self-check in, so it was a couple of seconds until we checked in. Showers were great. Also a perfect area to see the northern lights - which we did :D There is a very small park with reindeers. The kitchen is enormously huge and also has a small billiard :)
