At night, the experience becomes even more magical as you can clearly hear lions roaring nearby, adding to the wild and thrilling atmosphere. The staff was focused on safety, making sure everyone was okay after dark given the proximity of predators outside the camp. Tip: Enjoy a drink by the pool and indulge in a massage for the perfect way to relax between safari adventures!

A magical hotel along the river, where wildlife is an integral part of the experience – elephants, impalas, crocodiles, hippos, monkeys, and on rare occasions, even lions have been spotted just outside the cottages. The staff, from the reception to the security guards, are both professional and incredibly hospitable. In particular, the hotel manager, Festes Mbeva, is the most humble and welcoming person I have ever met. Cooling off in the pool after a safari trip and relaxing in the shade while the cool breeze offers relief on a hot afternoon is an experience I will never forget. The rooms are of excellent quality, and both breakfast and dinner were delightful. We decided to extend our stay by another night, and I’m already looking forward to coming back in two years.

The staff at this hotel were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was absolutely beautiful, much more than we expected! Clean, light and comfortable more than big enough for 3 of us! The pool was warm and clean with loungers and towels. Food was a buffet style with lots to chose from so we were all happy! As we were full board, we took a packed lunch with us on the day we left and that was to the same high standard as dinner and breakfast had been in the hotel.
