We absolutely loved our 3 nights at Kandalama Lodge. The staff are amazing and spoilt us especially Madushan i.e. Crazy ... Who over delivered in all aspects. Rooms are lovely and better than in photos. Outdoor bathroom fabulous. We ate in each night as the quality and presentation of our meals was exceptional. Pool area so clean and inviting. We really didn't want to leave as we felt so loved especially a birthday cake magically appeared

The lodge can conveniently provide information at the reception to help guests to get around the area. Absolutely perfect little place to stay, it was such a delight to find this place so close to the town but tucked away so there's no noise. The views from the beautiful private porch are spectacular, you can see the famous lion rock right from your doorstep! The bed is comfortable and there is air con so it isn't too hot. But the best thing about this property is the absolutely lovely family who run the place. They're such lovely, thoughtful, kind and helpful people. Really no need to stay anywhere else in Sigiriya!
