I liked the location, the view, the room (ac was working perfectly, hot water, comfortable bed). The homemade food they were making was tasty and also reasonable priced. Also by the river seeing crocodiles, peacocks, monkeys and comodo dragon was fascinating.

Lunuvila Resort Hiriketiya Dikwella er staðsett í Dickwella, 800 metra frá Dickwella-ströndinni og býður upp á garðútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. our absolute favorite stay in sri lanka! we kept extending it because oh we loved it so much. 1. the place is ideally located between dickwella and hiriketiya. close to the main road but far enough to be quiet! (important for us) 2. the room is extremely clean and well-thought out. very beautifully decorated with so much love and attention to detail. we had everything needed and couldn’t ask for more really. having our own kitchen was a huge plus and you can also do your laundry here. 3. the host Dasitha is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) person we’ve ever met. he was so patient and humble and truly cared about our experience…! very welcoming and friendly. great communication too. made our stay so special. helped us a lot in all possible aspects of our travel. feeling very grateful we decided to stay there and meet him. 4. the space: there’s a quiet outdoor area with sunbeds. we loved it! 5. unbeatable value for the price.! we couldn’t wish for a better accommodation! can’t recommend enough and look forward to coming back. thank you so much Dasitha!

Unrushed Midigama er staðsett í 2,1 km fjarlægð frá Midigama-strönd og býður upp á gistirými með garði, verönd og sameiginlegu eldhúsi, gestum til þæginda. Good wifi, massive lawn, and my personal favourite- monster lizard. It lives in the lawn. You can walk to the beach and all the eateries. Manu is very resourceful and can get you most of the things. Just ask him!

Subodinee Bungalow í Weligama býður upp á gistirými með garðútsýni, útisundlaug, garði, verönd og veitingastað. Smáhýsið er með bæði WiFi og einkabílastæði án endurgjalds. Everything! The garden, the bungalow with it’s private space outside to chill, the common areas where people got together to drink, eat or just chat… It’s also a 1 minute walk from the beach and literally 30 seconds from awesome coffe shops and restaurants. The hosting family is kind and will help you with anything you need. I had the chance to know more about them and how midigama has evolved in the past 40 years. It was really interesting and they are the sweetest people. Also, 2 great surfing spots just a few minutes walk from the bungalows. I will surely come back! Thanks for everything!

Rainforest Nature House er staðsett í Deniyaya í Matara-hverfinu og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Really charming 'homestay' style place run by very nice family. Our little house had absolutely incredible views over the forest. The hosts arranged our visit to the forest and the guide. Nothing fancy here, just simple,clean and comfortable accommodation. It's a bit hard to find but the host came out on this scooter and met our tuktuk driver who was lost, so all was well. I recommend staying here.

Bimanjee Mango Resort er staðsett í Matara, skammt frá Matara-ströndinni og Polhena-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. The family running this hostel was one of the nicest I've ever encountered. They even welcomed me with a refreshing coconut juice upon my arrival! I truly hope this small hotel thrives in the future.

The Whitegates Lodge er staðsett í Midigama, 6 km frá Ahangama, og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi og garð. Galle er í 26 km fjarlægð. Ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði á staðnum. Simple but really nice room, kitchen available for use which is super convenient. Really nice garden as an outdoor area with chairs. Good location as just across a busy road, there is a really nice and quiet beach, suitable for swimming with a very chill little beach restaurant. Ideally, one needs transportation (tuktuks and buses are available) as this location is in between Midigama and Ahangama.
