I am a vegetarian, and finding vegetarian fare is not very easy, but the hosts helped out immensely and made us feel at home. If I go back to Rodrigues, I would without a shadow of a doubt go back and stay at Gite Patriko.

Beautiful location and rooms with stunning views of the ocean. An exceptional host that is always willing to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Staff are friendly and helpful. I will definitely consider Domaine de la Paix again for my next visit to Rodrigues.

I loved the 'Gites Kreol' which I had all to myself. The welcome the 1st evening all guests were invited to dine with the family. Good food and atmosphere. French was the predominant language spoken, English was understood. Loved the infinity pool after a long day sightseeing. Highly recommend for a quiet relaxing stay. Next time I will bring my husband along to hopefully stay in the same accommodation as they have different styles of gites.
