From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and hardworking staff who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was unforgettable. The facilities are top-notch, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and adventurous stay in the Arctic wilderness. The snow gear provided was of excellent quality, keeping us warm and allowing us to fully enjoy the stunning surroundings. The sauna was a cozy haven, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of our trip was witnessing the Northern Lights for two consecutive nights—a breathtaking display we’ll never forget. Adding to the magic, we spotted two wild moose during our stay, a surreal moment that truly connected us to the untamed beauty of the area. A special thanks to Thomas, the owner, whose kindness and attention to detail made our experience even more memorable. He helped us find exciting activities and ensured we felt welcome every step of the way. The setting of the campsite is beyond words—raw, wild, and incredibly beautiful. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and experience the wonders of the Arctic, this is the place to be. We wholeheartedly recommend this camping experience to anyone seeking adventure, relaxation, and a chance to witness some of the most spectacular sights on Earth. Don’t miss it!

Norwegian Wild offre la vista sul mare a Brygghaugen e dispone di ristorante, cucina in comune, bar, giardino, terrazza e area giochi per bambini. Everything!! The view in front of the hotel is magnificent! Room is spacious and comfortable. Bathroom is clean and water pressure is good. Dog sledding is wonderful experience! High recommend.

IMA Tursenter si trova a Oteren. Il WiFi gratuito è tra i servizi disponibili in tutta la struttura e c’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. Everything was perfect. The cabin was super clean and cozy, and perfect for us to rest for the night after a few days of hiking. Thankful for the great customer service, the cabin manager allowed us to wash our clothes in the machines and was super helpful.

Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge offre la vista sulla montagna ad Alta e dispone di ristorante, sala comune, bar, giardino e terrazza. It felt like an elite hotel in the Alps. Everything was top quality - food, room, surroundings. Dinner was a piece of art. Comfy slippers helped to enforce the cosy vibes. Plenty of general areas (lounge etc) for pleasant chilling and wonderful views from outside. I visited during the summer and seriously consider coming back during winter.

Staying at Holmen Husky is an experience far away from staying at an ordinary hotel. We want our guests to get closer to nature and to get a taste of what it is like to live close to the elements. We had an all around fantastic stay. Staff was really nice and proactive to make you feel at home. The included breakfast and the meals we ordered were delicious. Certainly a fantastic experience if you're looking for something other than the usual hotel room. And as luck has had it the weather allowed us to see a beautiful aurora right there and then.

L’Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel si trova a 500 metri dal Fiume Alta e a 10 km da Alta. Excellent boutique hotel with spacious cabins in a pine forest. The self-service breakfast is just splendid. The setting is quiet, while still just about 15 minutes away from Alta. Our cabins had large observation decks that are oriented to the most common direction of northern lights. (Not all cabins are equipped with this, tough).

The tiny cabins are beautiful, in an isolated location with views of the mountains, the water and northern lights. Having a jacuzzi there ready for us after a long drive from Tromso was perfect. There are privacy walls around the cabins as well as curtains and we never felt exposed. Jeremy and Erle were very attentive. Also, the fabulous Umani restaurant is just 30 minutes away.

It was a combination of my favorite parts of hotels and hostels - lovely, private room with a view, with shared common areas and a kitchen to cook in. They had rental gear for outdoor activities as well!
