Just an incredible place - 'cabin' is understating it. The views across to Auckalnd and Rangitoto alone are worth the price, but it's the little touches that make this place special: all the fittings are metal where possible, the finishing is exceptional, and the wine is from across the road. It gave our stay a feeling of luxury and care that was beyond the price. It was also probably the best bed we've ever had - it shaped itself to us in a way neither of us had experienced before.

Boasting a tennis court, a private boat jetty and a heated outdoor pool, Riverside Matakana is located on the banks of the Glen Eden River. Loved the view, the location and the facilities. The simple layout with two bathrooms and laundry was great! We’ll definitely be back again for a longer stay.

Peaceful, very clean, modern and chic furnishings incl bed and linen, building is old and with character, the two bedrooms were very spacious, wonderful doors that opened to the balcony that overlooked the trees and pond below, and a glimpse of the sea beyond, Prime Tv that kept us entertained in bad weather, and wonderful personal touches like a welcome bag of chocolates. It was great meeting Clare who welcomed us warmly and showed us in.

With sea views, Delamore Lodge is set in Oneroa and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of... The attention we received on arrival and the attention throughout the entire stay made us feel extremely valued and welcome. We had dinner the first night and the food was exceptional. I had a dietary requirement which they were more than happy to oblige. The lounge/dining has a sweeping view of the sea and I liked how every dining table is up against a window so everyone gets a view. Very exclusive and very special. We felt lucky to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary there. The menu for breakfast both mornings were a culinary delight. Lots of choices where I wished we could have stayed an extra day to try them all. Would absolutely recommend especially if you are celebrating a special occasion. Loved the water bottles in the fridge and shortbread biscuits in our room. Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious but cozy at the same time with sweeping views. Really stunning ambience.
