This property is exactly as described and shown in pictures only better. We loved every minute. The outdoor tub, the night sky with one night even having a slight aurora glow. The Highlander cows who posed for photos. The delicious breakfast that came with the room, the glass bedroom. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners’ mother who stopped to check to make sure we were not lost while out exploring. While the location is a bit remote, that was what we were looking for, and it is a short drive into the town of Twizel and the nearby lavender farm. The Peace Ring was temporarily closed but we could see it from the road. Highly recommend!

Situated in Mount Cook National Park and offering beautiful mountain views, Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge is a 5-minute walk from Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre. The location and view from the kitchen is amazing. Easy check in. The 4 bed-room was comfortable even with a babycot for 2 adults, a child and a baby. There was enough space in the kitchen and fridge to store our things.

Offering rooms with a private patio, lake and mountain views and an additional room with a private patio and partial mountain views, Tekapo Heights is just 1 km from Lake Tekapo, a short stroll to the... it has smart tv, tower warmer, and a nice small garden.
