The owners were friendly and personable. We enjoyed their company had a lovely breakfast. The garden and the surroundings were just beautiful. We had a very nice room and we’re comfortable.

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. Clean little sanctuary with all the luxurious options without the fuss! Outdoor bath in the moonlight - whats not to like?!

Absolutely fabulous place to stay, close to Restaurants and food outlets but has the quiteness and privacy of being away from the Hussle and Bussle.. our Host was amazing so welcoming and helpful.. certainly will be staying again.. thank you your home is perfect, hospitality tops, garden beautiful and accomodation tops.

Great location, great view! Had everything we needed and more. Mary was so kind and helpful. She even upgraded our room saying "I always do when I can". Recommend!

The covered deck is a great place to hang out, even when it’s raining. There is a wonderful private path down to a picnic table by a stream.
