The owner cares a lot, gave us very helpful advices for our further travels around NZ and made us feel at home. Booking the jaccuzzi in the garden highly recommanded.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Excellent position with lovely views. Great communal fascilities with delicious continental breakfast served daily, including home produced fresh eggs. Very, very friendly atmosphere all round both from the owners and the other guests. Also within touching distance of the Abel Tasman National Park, 20 minute drive to the boats taking you into the park. Lovely garden with very good supply of herbs if you’re cooking at all. Excellent cooking fascilities available in the communal kitchen.

Situated in Pohara, Ratanui Lodge features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy free bikes, a terrace and a bar.

At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving local cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. Very well appointed room in lovely location and our restaurant meal was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with activities in the area.

Featuring a swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and views of the sea, The Bay Lodge is located in Pohara and provides accommodation with free WiFi.

Every unit features a private bathroom and shower, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a fridge. A toaster is also provided, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle.

The lodge offers a hot tub. Filip and Sonya were fabulous hosts-very hospitable and generous with information and recommendations. The shuttle service to Abel Tasman made a day tramping in the park seamless. We enjoyed the accommodations so much we were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay by one day. Pōhara is an excellent location for visiting the Golden Bay and I can’t recommend the Bay Lodge highly enough.

With mountain views, Alpine Lodge is set in Saint Arnaud and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden and children's playground. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. My room was very comfortable, warm and inviting. Coming out of the bush to the Alpine Lodge was like walking into a mirage. The food at the restaurant was incredible and the laundry facilities well priced. It was so good, I went back 5 days later.
