Herbie and Erika have done a phenomenal job with the place. We loved the vibe from the moment we arrived. The place is spread out giving a feeling of grandeur whilst being surrounded by the colours and sounds of nature. The accommodation is fully equipped with everything one needs. We really enjoyed the calm and the views, even from our bathroom the sight was breathtaking. The bed was comfortable and the pool was a delight. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the variety on offer was excellent.

There was a mini closet but apart from the rooms and inside the bathroom.

The location is perfect, as it’s right off the main road but tucked away in a much quieter area with the beautiful river running just behind it. The staff were so friendly and helpful as well, and the room was extremely clean.

We have been travelling from Canada to Panama over the past 8 years with longer stays in some countries. Magic Mountain Lodge is OUTSTANDING! This is a real gem that you should definitely not miss if you have the opportunity. It is overall the BEST (overnight ) place we have stayed along our journey. Oh and the breakfast is exceptional! Our host was friendly, personable, helpful and genuinely cared about our comfort. Great stay.

Beautiful setting , lodge had large area for dining sitting beautiful views. Pool refreshing, great views. Brad was an amazing host as well as the rest of the family. Would definitely recommend Gone Fishing to anyone traveling out this way well worth the time it takes to get here.

The view in the restaurant was simply amazing, It doesn't get a lot better than that. The facilities and the garden where very very nice. As for the staff some were very friendly and others were not. A complete different experience than Bambuda lodge. Overall the stay was nice and Boquete is really worth a visit

Top location, good food and clean rooms. Next to the lodge where a family Hawlers Monkeys and kolibris. Walk to nice beach is a bit trough jungle, so thats cool and took 20 minutes. You can rent Kayaks. It is back to basic, if you dont forget that, you will be fine.

Manager was very helpful in attempting to find lodging to addition days extension. Also was extremely helpful in finding a mechanic to replace brakes that started to grind.
