Llactapata Lodge overlooking Machu Picchu - camping - restaurant bevindt zich in Salcantay met uitzicht op de bergen en heeft een restaurant, roomservice, bar, tuin en terras. The selling point is certainly the view! The lodge is nestled on a hill and you can see Machu Picchu from a distance. The room was clean and comfortable but very basic. We had a nice area to sit outside and watch the sunset. There was a crazy intense storm that evening and it was an unforgettable and amazing show to watch from the cabin! I was very impressed with dinner, especially since it was just a father and son (I think?) running the lodge and restaurant and they covered dinner for over 20 people. It was a little late to come out, but it was the best meal I had during our Salkantay trek. Hats off to you!

Daniel was a superb host who made us feel very welcome and everything was taken care of in detail! He went out of his way to help us during the climb and ziplining! The climb is definitely worth it and the view is spectacular. Thanks also to Keko for the photos and nice companionship!

Beautiful lodge, a little oasis of calm and peace. Perfect after a busy day visiting Machu Pichu and a very welcome breath of fresh air compared to the very touristy Aguas Calientes.

The room was really comfy and clean and the breakfast was great.
