In winter, you need to keep the stove burning constantly; otherwise, it can get quite cold. However, even this adds to the unique and enjoyable experience. Dinner was very satisfying in a great atmosphere.

The check-in was super easy with Lisa greeting us at the restaurant. She is a very friendly host. The venison soup dinner basket was splendid - a perfect treat after a long day hike. We forgot to leave the keys after checking out, and only found out on our hike out to Nikkalouta. Lisa was very understanding and instructed us to leave the keys at the mountain station for them to collect later.

Arctic Gourmet Cabin se nachází v destinaci Kiruna a má restauraci, pokojovou službu, bar, zahradu, terasu, venkovní gril a výhled na jezero. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

They have been very helpful whenever we have problems. On the day of our snowmobile northern light tour, there was a heavy snow which results in us not able to catch the northern light. However, Adrian still went all the way up to the mountain in order to provide us with the best experience. The dinner in tipi before the tour was really delicious and we had the chance to talk to other travellers from other countries during dinner time. Aside from that, the home-cooked dinner in the lodge itself was exceptional! I am really in love with the dessert. Lastly, the room is on a smaller side but it's really cosy.
