Meremeta Lodge is a very beautiful place in the Western side of Utende. Wonderful rooms and a spectacular lobby/restaurant. The owner is almost always present and super friendly and supportive, as is the rest of the staff. Our room had an AC which was a blessing. Breakfast was self-service but super tasty. Generally, the food was really nice and varied. Well spiced. And super tasty desserts! It is possible to borrow bicycles to get around, which is super helpful as this place is not located directly at the beach. However, you get there really quickly by bike, and the upside to the location is that it is rather quiet.

New Bweni Beach Lodge se nachází v destinaci Baleni a poskytuje zahradu, soukromou pláž, sdílený lounge, terasu, bar a výhled na moře. The location, right on the beach, is unbeatable. No light pollution, the night sky shining, the only sound was wind and waves. There are miles of beach to walk along and explore. The road to the lighthouse has beautiful baobab trees, and monkeys. The tidal sand bars. The friendly staff and locals. Delicious meals, made on request. I'm vegetarian and it was easy.

We were a group of three young people and had the best time at Kitu Kiblu!! A friend recommended this place and we never regretted it. We hade a great time, everyone is friendly and welcoming from the staff they also provide great possibility to see the whalesharks in a responsible and nice way. So all over we would definitely come back!
