We loved everything about the accomodation. The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. The beds really comfortable and well furnished. Its a really lovely place. outside area for sitting amd wnjoying the views of waimea hills.

I loved the room and the amenities. It was cozy, there was good internet, and there was adequate fresh potable water. The bed was so comfortable.

We were on a budget which is difficult in Hawaii but this property helped us sleep five comfortably. Very friendly staff at check in. Accommodations were modest but so is the price so that’s ok.

Last of all, property host Axel's passion for agri- and horticulture also impressed upon us as he shared his knowledge about the Cloudforest Bioreserve.
