Offering free admission to the on-site water park, Great Wolf Lodge is located 8 km from Colonial Williamsburg. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. For my sons 16th birthday we surprised him with a stay at Great Wolf on our way to Bush Gardens. He had a blast at the indoor Water Park and loved Dunkin, the free popcorn, and the arcade! The arcade was a blast for all of us. What I loved the most was that the staff was super friendly, quick, and helpful. We purchased the Birthday package and it was money well spent. The staff decorated the door, my son received a cake, balloons, and tokens to the arcade. They had several packages to choose from. Our room was amazing and large for all seven of us comfortably. You also receive a pair of wolf ears once you check in. You will need to go to the gift shop to collect them. For families with small children, there were a lot of kiddos running through the hallways with their wands and interacting with a Quest game. I don't remember what game exactly, but on every hallway there were game peices to unlock levels. We were on our way to the gift shop when one of the kids beat the boss in the game. They were so excited! The gift shop was another highlight. They had a little of everything, from souvenirs, candy, jewelry, clothes, teddy bears, and more.
