As we were travelling on a budget and keen to meet the locals Alofa Beach bungalows was the perfect balance of comfort and friendly hospitality. Simple, relaxing and authentic looking bungalows with ensuite, running water and hot showers. The host were lovely and ready to help with whatever we needed. The food was nice. Pancakes for breakfast :) The bungalows are near a long stretch of coral strewn beach typical of Vanuatu and close to the local village. Perfect alternative to the resorts if you're after a more authentic experience.

Tanna Volcano View Tree House se nachází v destinaci Lankourou a poskytuje bezplatné Wi-Fi, zahradu, terasu a bar. Good location if you’re going up the volcano, however hard to get anywhere else without paying expensive amounts for a lift somewhere. Very welcoming though, food was fantastic, bed was comfortable and provided with mosquito netting for the night. Bring a portable charger or 2 as power is limited and only switched on for a few hours at night.
