Shepherds Tree Game Reserve is a lodge concession, located on the south western portion of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve and 18 km away from Sun City. The staff and Rangers were very nice and professional. They were amazing!! It' was the best trip

Ivory Tree Game Lodge is located inside the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Surrounded by plains and hills, this luxurious lodge boasts a outdoor pool and award winning spa. We loved everything at Ivory Tree lodge. All from breakfast, game driving (our Ranger was the best!), lunch, pool and area, room, AC, bathtub, dinners, drinks and not forget the staff, always helpful and smiling. Had a wonderful stay and would love to come back!!

What an awesome surprise to find out that we had our own kitchen and braai area! The kitchen, living area, bedroom and bathrooms were MASSIVE. We were totally self sufficient and in our element. The other awesome fact was that our unit was right against the fence border which was great because we could really get the feel of being in nature. Very friendly staff. Definitely a place we will go to again. A great place to switch off from the daily desk grind.

The dining and kitchen staff, Chris, Veronica, and David were very attentive to our dietary needs/restrictions and all of the food was wonderful. Rassie, our safari guide, knows the park and animals very well and worked with other guides to get us some wonderful and up-close views of several animals. We also learned quite a bit about the animals and their behaviors from him. The lodge is beautiful, and our room was very comfortable and had a lovely view of the surrounding hills.

The time of arrival was easily changed We were welcomed by Barbara warmly, she showed us our nest and Braai area, she made us feel at home. Their swimming pool is exectly as on the pictures (careful it's deep) bed it's like heaven, definitely will recommend and I gladly visit.its good that there is no TV in rooms you can interact 100%
