For someone with a court appointment the next day, the location is good. The front desk night staff did try to help but he simply cannot make a silk purse from a sow's ear.
This Kamloops inn is a 5-minute drive from downtown and one block from a shopping center. The inn offers free WiFi, a hot tub and a picnic area with barbecues.

Very tidy and very well maintained. Friendly, personable and professional host. Very quiet room even though handy to the highway. Excellent rates. I am really pleased I came here.

This motel is within a 5-minute drive of downtown Kamloops and is one mile from Thompson River University. The motel offers an outdoor pool and rooms with free Wi-Fi.
Both travellers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help to make check-in quick and easy.
We have stayed at this motel on our trips to and from Vancouver. We have always found it clean and is excellent value for money. I am not interested in paying $200-300 to rent a bed for a night.
Exactly what was advertised. Basic accommodation that was clean. The style was more like the 70's with a lot of 50's and 60's memorabilia throughout the place. I would recommend something like this vs. a highway motel that is overpriced and noisy. The host even put out some fruit, sweets, and coffee/tea.
I gave the Grandview Motel a 10, not because it was the nicest place we stayed at, but because it checked all the boxes for a good motel. My husband loved the pool! I got a good night’s sleep. They put the right spirit into maintaining their property.
The beds were comfy, and we slept well. There was free parking, and access to the pool and the gym, which we used. The room was also well equipped (microwave oven, fridge etc) with a large shower room, and the relaxed self-serve breakfast was nice.
