No breakfast as seen in the photos. Also a mediocre mountain motel. I've stayed in worse but truly wasn't bad

Our room was clean and comfortable. They provide hot coffee nice and early in the morning! We had a party to go to so we did not have dinner at the motel but I heard from my brother who lives in the area that the restaurant is delicious!

This motel offers really good value for those visiting Jim Thorpe. It's about 10-13mins drive to downtown Jim Thorpe. It's well priced and clean. If there's any improvement to be done to improve on the guest's experience, it would be the mattress. Then again, you're getting good value for money staying in this motel. We stayed here for 3 nights.

It is a 50s style motel, very small rooms, but immaculately cleaned with air conditioning and a refrigerator and a very small bath. Excellent outstanding staff and the best value for your dollar in the area.

Great location and super friendly staff. The restaurant and bar were clean and the menu and drink list were pretty impressive. Meeting interesting fellow travelers and kind of revisiting motel travel.

The Lantern is an old motel and a place to crash when we are visiting the Panther Valley or Jim Thorpe. The facility is spotless and the best value in the area if you are looking just for a place to sleep. The staff as usual were outstanding, friendly and very accommodating. We plan on using the facility again whenever we are back in the Panther Valley area.
