Good location. We were there for 3 days of hiking in Joshua Tree which was a short and easy drive away. Room furnishings were okay although very tired. The bathroom fan did not work. Door to outside had a very flimsy lock that gave us an argument every time we came back, and did not feel secure so we felt that we had to stow and lock our luggage every time we left.

I liked everything! I liked my large room with two beds and a couch. I liked that we were next to an exit door. I liked that the vending machines were across from our room. I liked that they offered continental breakfast and I liked the friendliness of the staff!

Rene at the front desk was fantastic! From her warm and informative welcome to troubleshooting when I needed it she was outstanding. The location was perfect for proximity to the historic Pioneertown set, shops, Pappy & Harriet's, and local sightseeing that included Joshua Tree. The bed was super comfortable, as was the bedding and pillows. I loved the local liquid hand soap and body lotion. It was quiet and I slept well. I also enjoyed the canteen that had fresh brewed complimentary coffee, tea and water. It was a particular pleasure to grab a warm cup of coffee and watch the spectacular sunrises that only the desert can offer.

Both travelers on the road and on a budget rely on motels for convenient stops with reasonable rates. Direct access to parking makes a motel an easy place to catch some sleep after a day of driving. The relatively smaller size of this accommodation type can also help make check-in quick and easy.
This is a simple motel, but the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The location is great. You are close (walking distance) to excellent cafes and shops. It's also a block from the main entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. The staff is also very friendly and provided maps to the park and the area when you check in. Note that they do not provide food but there are so many great places to eat near there that isn't a problem. Rooms also include a microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator.
The motel met our needs. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and it has a nice outdoor patio. great location in the center of the town and near to Joshua Tree National Park. Great place and good service. We will definitely stay again
Great safe motel , rooms were very well equipped with microwave, hair dryer etc. Perfect for our one night stay to explore Joshua Tree. Amazing BBQ restaurant within 5 miles too, Dickey’s BBQ pit highly recommend.
We did not have great expectations -- we had booked a cheap motel for one night prior to heading for the campgrounds at JTNP. We were pleasantly surprised!! Ravi, the owner and host is delightful -- he was so gracious and helpful. The room was large, clean, and comfortable -- we loved that the room had a backdoor out to a very charming garden area. The motel -- a throwback to the 1950s is conveniently located with walkable access to the local restaurants and shops.
This is by far the cleanest motel I have ever been to. Rooms are spacious with all the appliances you need, including a real coffee machine and plenty of outlets everywhere. I have been here at least ten times and it’s my fav hotel in the area. The national park is around the corner, including bars, cafes, minimart, and a farmer market! We always end up staying extra days :)
My husband and I did a road trip and stayed in motels most of the time and this was our last night and boy was it amazing! We made dinner at home, sat in front of the fire, sat in the hottub and looked at the amazing night sky. Everything you need is there. The host left clear instructions and care for the house. There were many books about the area. I would definitely recommend staying here at least one night. Home away from home in the desert.
Clean and very well appointed place. You could tell the hosts put a lot of thought into everything. Views were great. Kitchen was extremely well stocked (all cooking necessities, spices, oils). The power went out once in the evening because we had a few days of rain but the generator kicked on immediately. Comfortable beds! No issues with WiFi—our friends were able to work remotely. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and responsive.
