The few days we spent at Grandhotel Giessbach were truly like a dream. The hotel’s stunning natural scenery, historical architecture, and peaceful atmosphere captivated us from the very first moment. Everything was thoughtfully planned and flawless. However, one of the most important details that made our stay so special was meeting Kris Jungo, who works at the Front Office. Kris was incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. He made us feel right at home. He patiently answered all our questions and enhanced our vacation with his recommendations, making it much more enjoyable. Kris’s professionalism and warmth were a wonderful reflection of Grandhotel Giessbach’s quality. Staying at this hotel is not only a peaceful getaway but also an opportunity to meet wonderful people. Very big and beautiful house, with breath taking view! When we arrive at the house was already very warm even though the outside temperature was below zero!

Very lovely hotel with marvelous view on the lake and castle, Terrasse where you can relax with some nice food or drinks, cozy and clean rooms. Easy accessible parking space where we always found a free parking. 10min walk to the dock where your can take a ferry or enjoy full of nature Trecking tracks. Pet friendly, our dog could stay with us everywhere which is amazing! But what is extraordinary is the hotel staff - an outstanding team of great people, always happy and helpful. That brings amazing spirit!

amazing view, quiet setting, very nice food and very pleasant staff. We had an incident during our stay - the cable car which was supposed to take us up and down the mountain had an issue so we could not use it on the last day. However, the staff were very helpful and kept us informed at all times, and later in the day they organized for out luggage to be delivered down to us after we had skied in another area of the resort. Overall very very nice stay.
