The Sherpa family are amazing, and the staff at the hotel go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Nima organised a local driver for 3 days who took us to markets, local sight seeing and all the way back to namchi/pelling. Our Gangtok trip wouldn’t have been so amazing/easy without their help. They even lent us jackets for Tsmogo Lake. Aunty’s cooking was so delicious that we ate at the home stay every night. Coming from Australia, we were a bit bewildered with how far apart towns and cities are and they explained and recommended how to do Sikkim after Gangtok. The view from the home stay is incredible, so glad we chose here at the top of the Gangtok hills for the views

Der Dormitory ist sehr schön, gemütlich und ein großes Zimmer, sogar mit einem ganz wunderbaren Balkon. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist ein toller Ort, um interessante Menschen kennen zu lernen! Ich würde dort immer wieder hingehen! Den Weg in die Stadt fand ich angenehm und entspannend (wenn man von oben kommt!)

I was impressed by the efficient check-in/check-out process of the hotel. They allowed us to check in early, at about 10 am. Their customer service is also commendable.

Die Unterkunft Mt.Narsing Village Resort verfügt über ein Fitnesscenter, einen Garten, ein Restaurant und eine Bar in Ravangla. This was our second visit after 15 years. The current management has maintained the property exceptionally well and made few ornamental improvements. The quality of service was very good. Food is simple but very delicious. The dining area, like before, is an authentic display of Sikkimese culture and ethnic history.

The breakfast location was great, with a view of the Kanchanjunga. (Unfortunately, it was fogged in and not visible during our stay). The food had a great variety and they menu varied every day. Plus, they made fresh dosas and omlettes. The dinners were also excellent, varied menu during our four-day stay. We would particularly like to recognize the staff, who were ever helpful and polite. Divya and Pem deserve special mention. At our dinners, Divya was sweet and attentive to our every need and comfort. Pem was similarly very attentive to our needs, particularly, Kadha in the mornings as I had developed a cold. All in all, an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend the Taj Guras.

Lali Gurush Homestay was one of the best Holidays I ever had. The host family made us feel that we are at home only and prepared all the cuisines we requested for. Rooms were good and with a view and with all amenities. Mr Zigmee a gem of a person showed us around Oakhrey. His father mother brother ...each and everyone just so genuine and courteous...always helpful. In Okhrey Lali Gurush Homestay is the place to be, frankly...Kudos to the home family.
