Great quality linen and towels. I received a room upgrade as a Genius member. I appreciated the extra amenities, all great. Staff are professional and helpful, especially the lady on the day I checked out.

The restaurant was really great as for breakfast but even better for the dinner. We really appreciated spa with pool and sauna. We even tried some massage procedure and it was really great.

On the evening of Sunday the 24th I was enjoying a drink at the bar when I witnessed a disgruntled guest complaining to staff. The behaviour of the guest was disgraceful- aggressive, hostile and unreasonable. At all times the staff responded with dignity, patience and respect. I was extremely impressed and wanted to commend your team for their performance. Well done all.

Sankt Gallen provides a good base from which to explore several national parks: Gesäuse and the Kalkalpen, and is quite near Admont, with its Stift (abbey) and remarkable baroque library. The restaurant touted as the best in town, Gasthof Hensle, we will avoid in future. Service was poor and the food mediocre to bad. On the other hand, Kaffeehaus Purkowitzer has friendly staff and unusual ice cream combinations, and next door there's a very decent pizzeria, Don Eduardo. As elsewhere in Styria, they make salads with the ubiquitous pumpkinseed oil.

I enjoy going to the Central Platz area - so many great side streets to explore. Do not miss seeing the Armory - with its racks of armor and weapons from the late Middle Ages. Unless you want to burn out early - pay the couple of Euros to take the elevator up inside the mountain to the fortress - you will get enough exercise up top walking around on the mountain. Take trolley one - and then its bus connection - all the way out to the Maria Basilica that is atop a small hill ---- ok - it is a mountain... It will take you about 2 hours or so to get there and back - but so well worth it! Food wise - look for Styrian Fried Chicken.. which is done with pumpkin oil. Also garlic creme soup.

Beautifully located along the Mur river. The Schlossberg provided a great view over the city and made the ascent very worthwhile. There is also a funicular as well as an elevator. Overall, it’s very easy to get around in town. The cityscape with the rich old architecture is wonderful. “Die Herzl” is a centrally located, excellent little restaurant with Styrian fare.

In a historic house, in a very quiet street, but at the same time right in the city center. Parking car and bikes inside in a private yard. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, we didn't miss anything. Own seating in the yard. A very nice hostess with a very nice dog. :-) I usually find at least some small thing, but here I have absolutely nothing to complain about.

Breakfast had a good choice of meals, but in case of more people there is relatively smaller space around the bufet section. This hotel was in the middle of a winery. The staff were so welcoming upon our arrival and gave us many insights of where to visit in the surrounding area. We hired mountain bikes which I would recommend as a great way to see the surrounding countryside which was absolutely stunning. The hotel breakfast choice is one of the best we have had anywhere. The room and facilities are first class and I would highly recommend a short break if ever visiting Austrian wineries.

The hotel is well designed the stuff were the best we've encountered in all of Austria, very professional with a vast knowledge of wines especially Stefani! An impressive young woman who run the hotel better then many others twice her age who has a lot to learn from her. The food was lovely, breakfast and dinner included! Plenty of diversity in the breakfast buffet. They were very patient with our requests and equestrians about the area and about their wines. The Finnish sauna and the swimming pool were a great addition to an already wonderful stay!

The view from the infinity swimming pool is really amazing. I’ve never experienced anything more luxurious feeling. Plus they’ve got bottles of wine and glasses available in the pool/spa area at a good price offered via an honour system. A nice idea! Otherwise the hotel offered excellent food (loved the veggie burger) had super nice staff and dining on the terrace for dinner and breakfast was truly lovely! Plus a really excellent breakfast selection! <3 Kaiserschmarren included!! Plus a room upgrade. So absolutely a top location!
