Nespresso coffee machine was available along with tea, instant coffee, kettle and toaster. The added bonus was 2 slices of bread with butter, jam, peanut butter or vegemite all provided in room.

I woke up to kangaroos jumping across the grass on the morning and booked a massage which was amazing! Wish I could have stayed longer. Staff were very helpful and accommodating too! Loved the pool area.

We had an amazing 2-night stay at Spicers Guesthouse! The restaurant was unbelievably good—we dined there twice and loved every dish. Our room was spacious with super comfortable beds, and the pool was perfect for hot days, with the jacuzzi warm and relaxing for morning dips. The staff were lovely, and everything was spotless. Thank you for our hobeymoon welcome :)

Amazing location! Close to all the vineyards and so peaceful even though it's just off the main road. A highlight was waking up to kangaroos just outside the bedroom window. The rooms are spacious and clean and the fridge/freezer was the perfect size. İt was that good that we wanted to extend our stay but it's a popular place and was fully booked the next night. Communication with staff in the leadup and after the trip was brilliant.

We loved the location. We bbq'd and sat on the deck listening to the birds and watching the kangaroos. We only saw staff as we were leaving. Keyless entry was brilliant, and we felt like it was our own piece of paradise. The only criticism is that you need to be very good friends with your travel companion as there was nothing but a sliding door between the toilet and the bedroom/villa.

As like for other wine regions we tried to find a hotel with a winery in walking distance. This one is about 500m from Bimbadgen Estate, which features a high quality restaurant, a cellar door and a pizzeria, and we made use of all of that. We had a friendly welcome at H Boutique Hotel (also by some roos, which enjoyed the rain), and got a big room, in fact it's an apartment with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room and a terrace. There's of course ample parking. Next to the reception there's an interesting shop / bar / cellar door... don't know what to call it, but we enjoyed a nice cheese and wine tasting there, and the next day a breakfast too (it's not open every day though, but we were lucky). It was perfect for the rainy day we had on arrival. Apart from the winery you can walk to, you're very close by car to every other Hunter Valley attraction and winery.
