The hotel was great, and the staff was amazing. The rooms were clean and the pool was a plus too. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were very good. Everyone worked to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and they were able to provide answers to all our questions about everything we wanted to do around San Ignacio. The only thing to note is that the hotel is a little outside of the town so you might need a car to get into the town, it’s about a 5-10 minute drive so not bad at all. Most tours will also pick you up from the hotel if needed.

Located in San Ignacio, 3.2 km from Cahal Pech, Maxroomz features views of the mountain. The rooms provide a city view and come with a desk and free WiFi. The room was well-equipped with a small fridge, microwave, kettle, fans, TV, WI-FI and A/C. The beds were very comfortable with good support and a mattress topper. It was a short walk over the bridge into town so it’s very conveniently located with a small supermarket just opposite, a local takeaway restaurant and a laundromat downstairs. Mike and staff were friendly, helpful and very responsive to any queries or requests for advice. I would definitely stay at Maxroomz again, and I would highly recommend it, especially as it’s more affordable and more well-equipped than most similar properties.

The property was in a beautiful setting. The facilities are clean and well maintained. It’s small scale.

Had an amazing stay, the place is in the middle of a big green garden where we saw toucans every morning, met parrots and ate fresh grapefruits. The staff were all super friendly. It was a small walk to the center but San Ignacio is small so this wasnt a problem at all
