Emma has created a fantastic hostel with lots of thought put into the facilities and finishes. Emma was super friendly and helpful. Hostel is centrally located and has a fabulous rooftop terrace for hanging out with other travelers and cooling off in the evenings. Motorbikes are available for rent and I was lucky enough to join Emma for a day of riding through the local trails. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful beach front cabanas well located close to restaurants and nearby Placencia. The couple who own and manage the cabanas have added a lot of personal touches including a small kitchenette, spacious veranda, swimming pool, and a detailed booklet outlying their favorite restaurants, bars, tour guides etc. This was a very friendly place to stay and one of our favorite places in Belize.

I loved everything about this property, the staff were incredible, the food, the facilities... we had the best stay ever. We would highly recommend, 20/10 stay at the Colonial. Chris looked after us the whole time we were there and we saw him make an effort and look after all the guests, he always went the extra mile. Captain Larry was also really kind and insightful- he always went out of his way to make recommendations and check we were having a great time.

The property is perfectly located in the heart of Placencia. The room we had was large and very clean. The staff left us personalized hand written letters and we loved them. The entire staff was attentive and kind. The beach on the property is beautiful and well kept.

Ranguana Caye Cabanas ofrece alojamiento de 3 estrellas en Placencia, frente a la playa, y dispone de jardín, zona de playa privada y terraza. I was a little nervous about staying here because, due to it being eco-friendly, the cabins didn't have air conditioning and the stay wasn't going to be as luxurious as some other stays I've had, but I am so glad I took a chance and we decided to stay here. It is a once in a lifetime experience, and you truly feel like you're on your very own private island. We were free to do whatever we wanted whenever we wanted, and the food and drinks were absolutely excellent. Every single thing we ate was delicious. It exceeded all of our expectations. We were able to snorkel and kayak, and my husband went fishing every day we were there (and caught something to eat each day too!). The wildlife is amazing to see, and the water is absolutely crystal clear. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and they're always around to answer questions, check to see if you're hungry/thirsty, or need anything. Allen and Lloyd make our stay remarkable, and we will be recommending this island stay for years to come!

Great quiet location with stunning beach that felt very private. Staff and housekeeping were exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. Highly recommend.
