Property was a nice bit of luxury and space with a serviceable gym and got a room upgrade to the lakeside rooms, drinks on patio and nice breakfast. The room is expansive with nice balcony looking over the lake.

This said, we were absolutely impressed with the level of attentiveness from the staff in all areas. Always greeted with a friendly smile and hello. The receptionist took time to tell us about some highlights about Lugano and what not to miss. The room we booked, was very spacious and very modern, with comfortable beds and beautiful view of the city below. The breakfast had an enormous selection of fresh and delicious assortment. The hotel also has it's own restaurant, witch requires reservation and is superb. This hotel and staff exceeded expectations in all aspects.

The breakfast is outstanding- freshly baked breads to start, followed by homemade waffles, and finished off with any type of eggs and bacon. Fabulous orange juice and tea/coffee. The owners also recommended an Italian restaurant 3 minutes walk away, and even reserved a table for us. The food and staff there were amazing too! Villa Patria is a little gem! Can highly recommend!
