The receptionist was super nice, the rooms are clean and equipped with everything we needed. There is a wonderful view of the Matterhorn, a fresh and large varied breakfast. A lot of thought about the stay at the hotel - beautiful spa, room with board games, beautiful balcony. It really seems that every detail has been thought of. We had a great time, highly recommended!

Situated close to the ski lifts in Zermatt, Alpen Resort & Spa features a restaurant, and spacious rooms with cable TV. The view was absolutely stunning. I even did a reel with it " This is my view today.. How was yours" And I strongly believe the room was upgraded. Reserved a double classic room but got a double panorama room instead! Insanely beautiful panorama view I have to say! The breakfast comes with many choices. We definitely kickstart the days with happy tummy from the yummy breakfast! The Room Janitor did an excellent job in tidying up the room meticulously, arranging our all over the place open luggage so that we can more spacious walk areas and even changed our wet slipper and gave us a new pair! The outdoor and indoor pool was enjoyable especially when it was a rainy day with bad weather and low visibility to go up the mountain and the jacuzzi was so so so relaxing! Awesome! High recommended to all! Definitely booking again next time!

The room is a solid 4-star quality, and reasonably-priced considering it is High Season. Alpine decor lends considerable charm to the room and the public areas. Matterhorn view from my room. Proactive and friendly staff. Prior to my arrival they asked me for my train schedule so they could meet me at the station. So many hotels around the world, having taken your reservation, don’t care if you can find them or not. Location unbeatable for Zermatt, on main road and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The hotel’s own restaurants are well-patronized and beautifully decorated. Good breakfast with eggs cooked to order and the usual Swiss layout.

Beautiful with view of the Matterhorn. The suite has a jacuzzi and a sauna, a very nice option to have after a day of mountaining. Jacuzzi was amazing, easily fits 4 Sauna warmed me to the core fits two adults. Separate Bedroom facing the mountain was amazing comfort Living room and deck was spacious and fashionable. The Bistro was delicious, just don’t order too much as the portions are large. All staff were very friendly and helpful

The hotel is in an amazing location and is easy to get to on the gornergrat train. It’s great for skiing. The room was spacious and clean, the WiFi was good. The spa facilities were nice and modern and never too busy. All the staff were very nice and helpful.

The hotel was awesome. We were in the Star & Sky room which was fabulous. Lucas (front desk) greeted us and he was very professional and friendly. He provided us with all the info we needed for the area. The spa was a fabulous addition to the hotel. The breakfast was delicious. The design of the hotel was incredible and well thought out.
