Only 5 km from downtown Bariloche and 15 km from Catedral ski centre, Monasterio offers a swimming pool nestled in the slopes of Otto Hill. There are panoramic views of the mountains and forests. Location was perfect to be with a rented car. Being close to Pioneros enabled us quick access to town, to the Nahuel Huapi and breweries and to Circuito Chico. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not outstanding (I am picky with coffee) but included all you need (eggs, cereals, bread, ham, cheese, etc). If you want better coffee, Delirante coffee is round the corner.

Wyndham Puerto Varas Pettra is in an impressive location, offering a panoramic view of Puerto Varas´s Llanquihue Lake and volcanoes Osorno and Calbuco. Its spacious rooms have balconies and free... Such a fantastic hotel! We arrived by car and were able to park right outside the front door. Immediately a young man came out to help us with our luggage. As you enter the huge lobby you can see the amazing views. Carolina on reception was so welcoming and charming. Lovely room with a balcony, incredible views and a machine providing filtered water. Fabulous breakfast, again with great views! Perfect location, easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Wish we could have stayed longer!

These tastefully decorated rooms have free Wi-Fi and overlook the Nahuel Huapi Lake, only 5 minutes from Bariloche city centre by car. Catedral Ski centre is 20 minutes away by car. Friendly helpful staff and a good restaurant. You would struggle to find somewhere this good in Switzerland. A beautiful location on the west side of the town so it was easy to drive to the Cerro Campanario chairlift, the Circuito Chico and Puerto Panuelo. We wished we had stayed here for longer than two nights!

Set on the shores of Llanquihue lake and boasting stunning lake and volcano views, the recently-built Hotel AWA Puerto Varas offers luxurious accommodation with free WiFi access in Puerto Varas. Very much enjoyed the Awa. We were in a suite which was very comfortable and spacious. There were a few things that were not functional (the blinds) that needed to be fixed. Otherwise, the half board option was appropriate (same menu all the time for breakfast, lunch and dinner). We also had massages which were good. I’d recommend to others.

The owners couldn’t do enough for us :) They helped us by storing a bag as we completed a hike, helping us turn the heat down in our room and arranging an early breakfast. Absolutely exceptional place!

Casa Molino Hotel Boutique & Restaurant Puerto Varas is located at the banks of Lake Llanquihue. It offers rooms with free WiFi and a garden area. Very genuinely nice staff. AMAZING lake+mountain view from the room I booked, you could also watch birds hunting/walking around in their lakefront “backyard”. Walking the backyard in a misty morning was cool too. Room was cozy, comfortable and very modern. Breakfast was pretty good. Location is perfect if you are driving (and you should be for touring this area), easy access to roads that take you to Puerto Varas restaurants, to the airport, or to Chiloe.
