I had the biggest room and it was lovely. The view the location and atmosphere was just amazing.

Very clean and well located right next to Sun Plaza Department Store and the famous Dongmen Pedestrian street. Staff were incredibly polite, accommodating and always greeted with a smile. There is some construction work downstairs and in the area, but it's during controlled times and there is a notice to all guests about the noise, but honestly, we barely heard anything! Will highly recommend and also easily accessible to transport and taxis. A bonus is that there's a gym on the 9th floor for all guests to use.

Nice City, GZ is basically a business city in Guangdong Province. Lot of places to visit as a tourist. Pearl River is just near to 7Days inn. Walking distance only 5 Minutes. Must try local GZ food if you are really fond of Local Chinese Cuisine. Shennshen the electronic city of China is only 1 hour by high speed train. GZ is also well connected with Hongkong as you can get a direct train from GZ to HK 2 hours journey.

This is the second times I visit Guangzhou with my family.
This is the second times I visit Guangzhou with my family. In Guangzhou, all the foods is incredible especially the 肠粉 Cheong Fun and the 点心 Dim Sum. In Addition, Guangzhou is one of the hub of fashion clothes trading in China (even in Asia), you can visit 人民南路ren min nan lu, 十三行 Shi San Hang (Thirteen Hongs of Canton), you will see "people mountain people sea"(mostly the fashion retailer go there to buy clothes ) on the road .. and a lot of huge mall among these area to cater the demand. Hence, the price of clothes in Guangzhou is cheaper than other city, the passenger can go to 上下九 (Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street) to buy the cheap clothes and also go to 北京路 Beijing Lu, 丽柏广场 La Perle，太古汇 Tai Gu Hui to have a premier shopping experience. The public transport of Guangzhou is perfect, almost all the area can be get to by Guangzhou Metro, BRT and bus/tram. Traveller can consider to buy the Metro 1 day (20RMB) or 3 day (50RMB) with unlimited ride if commuting very frequently. (Actually, the fare of metro is quite cheap, about 3 RMB for short ride and 7 RMB for long ride). If you are desire to explore more Chinese culture, you can go to another city by 动车 high speed rail to another nearby city (the HSR in China is excellent and the fare is quite affordable) such as 厦门 Xiamen，深圳 Shenzhen, 桂林 Guilin. In Guangzhou, you can experience the 广东（粤）Guangdong(cantonese) culture at affordable budget compare to Hong Kong.

It's a modern, warm city with a great subway system, nice parks for walking, fantastic shopping in Dongmen (near Luo Hu), plus an entire district for IT products walk up the Lian Hua hill/moluntain for a fantastic view of the city and to see the huge status to Deng Xiao Ming, the inspiration behind the city's lightning transformation from small village to vast city big variety of world-famous Cantonese food - Shenzhen is in the province of Guangdong = Canton also, hop over to Hong Kong when you need a break

Travelling on the metro makes it easy to get around. Apparently the taxi drivers over charge so I avoided them. English is not widely spoken there, however I had a translator app which helped alot. There is lots to do and see. Every area has a different feel and look. I went beggining to mid July and the heat was ridiculous and very muggy. I also visited Liede Shipaiqio which was lovely very uptown. Sanyuali had a lot of trade centres for business especially in the hair and beauty/fashion industry. Guangdong had a lot of technology stores. I stayed in Likto in Taiojin. Can't reccomend the hotel enough, was great and the area had lots around and with the metro 5 min walk away it was easy to get to everywhere I needed to go, even the airport.
