Beautiful scenery ( had previously visited Bhutan which was great , but Tibet scenery is much more spectacular and varied ) , Tibet people are wonderful , gentle and very much like westerners . Food was great and varied . Be sure to do research on the pass you require . Include everywhere you might want to visit as passes are very specific . If a destination such as Everest Base Camp isn't included you can't go . There are various checkpoints where your pass and passport are required is you're not a Chinese citizen .

The old building is gorgeous and the room was decorated in a beautiful Tibetan style. Great location in old town. Room heater and humidifier worked well. Location in the old town is wonderful. Staff are super-friendly. Great to stay in a family run place, rather than a Chinese chain hotel.

Room and toilet are clean, tidy and spacious. The bed is comfortable. It is a Tibet-styled hostel. The hostel is located near to the square and just need 5-10 minute walk. 20-30 minute walk to the palace. Wifi is good. Staff are very nice and she gave me cheaper price for the room.
