The whole place is beautiful and super well-maintained. The cabins are clean and confortable. Water runs smoothly everywhere and the pool was a great experience for the kids in the evening. Doris and Cesar, the hosts, are extremely helpful and kind. They give the best advice for things to do. I highly recommend staying at Yellow Home.

Miss Francia ́s Home se nachází v blízkosti pláže na ostrově Santa Catalina, 5 minut chůze od pevnosti Warwick, a nabízí terasu a terasu. Na místě je bar. Our large room was nice and clean, and we had access to a kitchen (that had free coffee and filtered water) with a small balcony. We were pleasantly surprised that the property also had a small bar, where we had an opportunity to chat with locals and the owners and their family. The location was perfect, right on the water and a short walk across a bridge to the main town on Providencia. Meanwhile, the property itself was right by the water and very quiet and relaxing, being on the car-free island of Santa Catalina. We took advantage of free kayaks provided by the property to paddle around Santa Catalina and enjoy the beautiful views. It was also a quick hike to a very nice beach. What truly made our stay special was the kindness and attentiveness of our hosts, especially Xavier. We greatly enjoyed our conversations with you and hope to return one day. Thanks so much for enriching our time on Providencia! This was a truly authentic island experience.

Tento hotel se nachází pouhých 10 minut chůze od pláže South West Bay a nabízí rozlehlou krásnou zahradu. Na ostrov se dostanete letadlem nebo katamaránem z ostrova San Andres. Fantastic location, close to everything you need and the best beach on the island with the most beautiful sunsets and top cocktails at Joel’s. I’ve booked the upgraded single room with the balcony and the room itself was a nice size with a modern air con system. The staff was the best I’ve had in 3 weeks in Colombia, lovely breakfast and special thanks to Solaina (hope the spelling is correct :) ) for making me feel so comfortable and welcome. Hopefully will be back for at least a week next time!

I liked everything, the room, the breakfast, the staff. The location is special because the hotel has a supermarket across the street, has 2 dive centers very close and good restaurants too.

Boasting a sun deck area with direct ocean access, Cabanas Agua Dulce also offers an outdoor swimming pool. Rooms have private balconies with hammocks. Agua Dulce Beach is 500 metres away. The cabanas are lovely, set in a nice garden with even a pool that is useful after a day at the beach. The interior of the cabanas is basic but they are clean, spacious, with fridge and air conditioning and an outdoor space. The staff is friendly and helpful and the included breakfast is good and complete. I had read negative reviews and honestly don't see the point. The beach in front no longer exists because of the hurricane that hit the island a few years ago, the bar/restaurant La Terrazza in front offers sunset views and really good cocktails. Providencia is still an island little exploited by mass tourism, but there is a lot of restaurants , especially on the beach, really nice and good, with delicious fish and lobster. There are sunflies and mosquitos but with a good repellent they are kept away 😉

Slow down, adjust to the island and you just might find what we discovered at Posada Aleeny: Sincere hospitality and new friends. A longer stay will work better for you, as you recall why you travel: to be immersed in a new culture and environment. If you are ready, you will find no better guides than Dany and Micheli, hosts with hearts wide enough to welcome those willing to explore. Exceptional local food is one pathway they will lead you into their world with; spot on local advice and contacts will be another. Keeping in mind that the welcome they are providing is happening at the far edge of services and infrastructure in an area that was devistated by hurricane just a few years ago will sharpen your appreciation of just how much Dany, Micheli and their extended families are doing to share their community and lives with you. The facilities, location and value were exactly what we were hoping for and matched our expectations perfectly.

Jairo is the one of the best host we ever had. Really kind, available, full of advice. Even if we spent 2 nights out of 4 in the island, jairo was still in touch for any needs. I really do recommend this place !

Great location, the staff were incredibly nice. Good breakfast with fruits and a couple of options to choose from. We definitely will come back
