Centrally located in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca town centre and just a 3-minute walk from Salsa Brava Beach, Hotel Indalo adults only features an extensive garden, sun terrace and free Wi-Fi. Really comfortable and private hotel for a great price in Puerto Viejo. We loved the size and layout of the room, the patio area and the pool was a nice bonus. It was close to everything but far enough that there was no traffic noise or music from the local clubs. Filtered water and coffee offered daily was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We could observe different animals from our terrace like aguti or lizards. There’s nothing that could have gone better, our stay was amazing in every detail.

Josef who works at the front desk was amazing. Made us feel incredibly welcome and shared a lot of Costa Rican history with us. He also gave us advice of where to go, what to see and eat in puerto viejo. The property is also close to one of the best beaches. Was super relaxing and everyone was so friendly. The drinks were awesome, the included breakfast was delicious and the pool was also really nice. Highly recommend! Also, there are howler monkeys in the area which were awesome to hear and see, and with a short walk off the property there are so many other cool animals to see, Like toucans and macaws!

First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to all the extremely professional staff and a special thank you for the person in charge of selecting the staff. I can speak indefinitely about how beautiful the property is and about the unique location on the best beach in the area. It wouldn’t have been the same without all the efforts of the staff. Staying in AWA allows you to experience the wildlife of Costa Rica without leaving your hotel. Howler monkeys , sloths , beautiful frogs and birds are hanging out right over you head :)
