Beautiful old villa in the best location in Sao Filipe. I was upgraded to the nicest room they have - it was very spacious and with breathtaking view over the sea and Brava island. Very pleasant staff, tasty breakfast and swimming pool. All of it for a decent price. Totally recommended!

They went above and beyond to make my time in Fogo easy and special and I am so grateful! Also, the food at their hotel is DELICIOUS, the internet worked quite well, and the town of Cova Figuera is a very friendly place. I had a great experience and absolutely recommend this hotel as an excellent value!

At first, we were a bit hesitant due to a few very harsh negative reviews, despite the majority being positive. That's why we wanted to share our own experience. We stayed in the Sal Room, the most affordable option at the hotel, and for €90, everything was perfect. The view alone was worth the price, not to mention the warm and genuinely welcoming staff, who seemed even happier to host us than we were to be there. Fogo Boutique Hotel is a small oasis on the island. While there are some limitations, it is undoubtedly the best option in the region. We will definitely be back!

The Colonial Guest House in São Filipe boasts accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a bar. Each accommodation at the hotel has sea views and free WiFi. Very well decorated and great property to stay on. They also provide the opportunity to book day trips to the vulcano on the island & other hikes. The pool is a great addition.
