We also hiked to the crater. ) The restaurant was wonderful, we enjoyed the. vegan offerings on several nights. Breakfast was ample and delicious. The staff were exceptional, answering every question and assisting with any requests. We highly recommend this hotel.

The family running the hotel were so wonderful- they were smiley and helpful, helping us to book taxis, giving us advice about hikes & transport. When accommodation at our next place didn't work out they happily allowed us to stay another 2 nights. The views over the mountains, tropical plants & coast are breathtaking, and the inner garden courtyard where the rooms face is full of banana & breadfruit trees as well as tropical flowers. The breakfast is big & varied day by day- the view from the breakfast roof terrace room is stunning. They gave us tinfoil to take the sandwiches we had made from breakfast on our hike with us.
