Patmos, Grecia: cerca hotel

Appartamento semplice ma molto curato con una meravigliosa terrazza con vista mare. Pulitissimo e grandissima disponibilità, gentilezza e grande simpatia del proprietario Nektarios. Siamo stati benissimo, noi che a Patmos siamo già stati tante volte, lo super consigliamo.

Host was super friendly and helpful. Even gave me a ride one day. Easy to contact by whatsapp after booking through booking.com. Super well priced. Barely outside of town (5min walk from main street) ask about heating water if booking in winter(water is normally heated by sunlight) netflix, bed was ok, blankets good. Great view! Close to restaurants. Very comfortable toom to come back to after a long day

Perfect place to stay on patmos island. Everything was amazing, we felt excellent. Thomas the host was exceptional, he is very kind, friendly, always helpful, he made us feel at home. Him and his parents are amazing people. Can't describe how good our vacation was. 3 minutes walking distance to the beach, it's a quiet place, you have all the parking spots you want. The inner court is a wonderful garden with lots of trees and flowers. We talked to other guests and many of them were guests here before. Can't wait next year to come back!

Everything was perfect: We only booked Stefano's Studios for 1 night due to a change in our plans, but if I had the option I would cancel the other accommodation we had booked for 4 days and stay at Stefanos'. Location: walking distance to Skala, but bear in mind that if it's too hot you may need a transport. The room: The nicest room we have stayed in during our holidays this year. Spacious, airy, SUPER CLEAN, with a fully equipped kitchenette, the view from the balcony was to die for (we could see the castle of Chora and the entire Skala port). We booked a studio for 2 but got a bonus bed (1 double and 1 single), which we highly appreciated as we could spread around and feel like home. Hospitality: Stefanos and Evdokia are the definition of Greek hospitality! We asked for a taxi to be arranged due to large luggage, but Stefanos picked us up from the Port and when we were leaving the next day, they held our luggage till our check in time with the other place and gave us a lift to that place so we don't have to worry about anything. Even when there was a mix up with the other accommodation Evdokia and Stefanos tried to help us and offered us a different accommodation so we had somewhere to sleep (whilst the mix up was resolved with the other place, we couldn't be more grateful to Stefanos and Evdokia who went out of their way and tried everything to keep us at ease). Other: not only did they sort out our great stay, but Stefanos also owns a rent car/scooter service and we also rented our scooter from him and got all the valuable information to enjoy our stay in Patmos. Next time we are here we will look no further and just book everything with Stefanos and Evdokia so we can enjoy peaceful holidays.

Most beautiful place to stay on Patmos! George and his team are awesome hosts. The breakfast, services and housekeeping were great, and the amazing view on top. We had a perfect holiday and will definitly come back!! Thanx for everything to George, Giota and Dimitra!

Family run, walking distance to Skala but still very quiet

I came pre-season, In April. Patmos was quiet, their 3000 population getting ready for the 9-10 fold population swell with the tourist season beginning early May. I loved the quiet divine beauty of Patmos, including from the wonderful balcony where I spent much of my down time relaxing and enjoying the view of Grikos bay. My experience was excellent, I cannot recommend these Theologos Houses enough. We call them casitas in Tucson, a full kitchen bedroom bathroom and the spacious balcony. Each is different so make sure if you want your own bathroom that it is included not “attached.” Personal attention is available for whatever may be needed; they also rent cars and scooters. Elisa is a treasure, as is her son Johannis and her husband Theologos, the builder of these houses in the ancient Greek style. The house on Grikos bay was close to the Cave of the Apocalypse and the Monastery, the major destination for pilgrims and tourists worldwide. I would start from Skala and walk up the mountain on an ancient path, or park up near the Monastery at the Chora, and walk down and back up to my car. Great exercise! The views along the way are fantastic. Most people don’t know that John, when exiled, was free to move around on Patmos, and spent a lot of time in Skala, evangelizing, starting a church. He went up to the cave with his scribe Prochorus to meditate, pray and write Revelation. Elisa helped me find the best local guide to teach me these things and to help me find resources.
