In the Rio Dulce river near a 16th century castle the Tortugal Boutique River Lodge peninsula is bathed by almost constant on shore breezes providing a cool and refreshing place. The cabana was charming, right on the Lake! The restaurant was wonderful; lots of great meal options, and friendly staff.

It is a really peaceful place to relax and enjoy nature. The food is amazing (vegetarian) and prices are fair. Tim (the owner) will make sure that you're having a good stay. You can rent a canoe or paddleboard if you want. Wifi is bad but it will make you talk more and enjoy nature even more

La Isla Dulce features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Lívingston. The accommodation offers room service and a 24-hour front desk for guests. I had 3 nights in the basic room ,loved it, it was a really nice room with a view of the river. The managers were really nice people. The hot shower was a bonus.

Hotel el viajero is situated in La Viña and features a bar. Featuring a restaurant, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The hotel has family rooms.... The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, very peaceful and comfortable accommodation on the river. Very clean and well maintained amenities. This was the last leg of our trip before heading to the airport, a bit more expensive than some of the other options available but definitely worth it after backpacking around. Also the food and service was really awesome. Very happy we chose to stay here.

Situated in Rio Dulce, 5.5 km from Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, Hotel Real del Rio features views of the pool. Great shower! Hot water and good water pressure. We arrived at 1 in the morning and check in was no problem. We even got cold bottled water. Beds were very comfy. Didn't use the pool but looked nice.

Desde el dormitori por veure l'alba, la ubicació és genial queda una mica apartat del centre però les barques desde Rio Dulce et deixen al moll de l'hotel i si vols anar a Punta Gorda el mateix hotel et reserva la barca que et passa a buscar pel mateix hotel, més cómode impossible.

It was centrally located near harbor restaurants. We felt safe there. They had English speaking staff at the front desk and they arranged an English speaking taxi for us that arrived promptly at 6:00 a.m. The room was clean and had plenty of hot water. The building felt very safe.

Among the various facilities of this property are a shared lounge, a garden and barbecue facilities.... The breakfast at the Cayena restaurant was excellent. This is Nanajuana hotel restaurant. We ate multiple dinners and breakfast and they were all very well prepared with prompt service. Highly recommend.
