The owners, Daria and Douglas, made us feel right at home from the beginning. The food prepared by Daria and the local women was delicious and made with a lot of love. Douglas went out of his way to organize boat and bus transfer back to Guatemala City for us. And the house we stayed in was breathtaking- beautifully designed, with gorgeous furniture, amazing bed, and a beautiful view of the lake. I sincerely hope we can come back and visit again.

Hot water and good water pressure. We arrived at 1 in the morning and check in was no problem. We even got cold bottled water. Beds were very comfy. Didn't use the pool but looked nice.

Management and all staff were super friendly, accommodating, and professional. We also loved our view on the large balcony. The hotel restaurant is outstanding, excellent food with a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding mountains. We would definitely recommend to others looking to stay in the area.

Can only vouch for the doorm room, which was simple but nice. No fans or ac, but located on the 3rd floor with open windows, and the temperature at night was on point. Friendly staff and a good relaxed vibe away from traffic. Flexible with the boat transfer if you willing to chip in a few bucks for the gas and service
