Lovely, spacious bungalows with comfortable bed, small deck with hammock and seats plus own ladder into the water. The food was excellent and plentiful. The managers, Mima and Ringo, are very friendly and helpful. The house reef is a short swim away and offers good snorkelling. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Note: end of November and we had no mosquitos, which was great!

We didn't have much expectations coming to Terimakasih, but the stay completely exceeded any expectation we could have formed. The pictures on booking don't do the property justice; the cabins, view, restaurant, general facilities were all excellent. The staff was so friendly, and always ready to help. They cleaned the cabin daily and we got banana fritters as snack in the afternoon (still dreaming about them). It was so relaxing in the hammock on the porch, and it wasn't hot with the breeze from the ocean. It was my happy place for a small week. The house reef was colourful and full of fish. In the evening we saw bioluminesence around the cabin in the water. As far as homestays go- this one outshines them (speaking for experience). I'd rather you didn't book so there will always be a place for me, but I understand if you do based on this review :) It has all the ingredients for a wonderful vacation. Thanks, Mario + team.

Atmosphere and Activities: Gibran's homestay has the best atmosphere among all the places we visited in Raja Ampat. They make sure everyone is happy with their stay, and every meal is an occasion for chatting with the other guests. There is a different activity (e.g., snorkeling tour) every day, and the plan is flexible to accommodate guests' needs. Diving can also be easily arranged with other homestays on Kri. Rooms and Common Spaces: The bungalow is basic but clean, the bed is comfortable with fresh sheets, and the large hammock on the deck is definitely the best we’ve had in RA—relaxing there is just amazing. The shared bathrooms are clean, and the shower is very powerful. The food is always different and tasty (more than in other places). Location: Kri's south bay is wonderful. From your room, you have an incredible view, with easy access to the sea and the reef. You can swim to the reef, and during low tide, use one of the nearby jetties. The long, white sandy beach is worth a walk as well (you can see the beach from your room). The house reef is beautiful, and the current is less strong than in other areas, which makes snorkeling very enjoyable.

We totally loved our stay at Tabari. The location is extraordinary on a remote island, and the attention to detail is clear as soon as you arrive on the jetty. Brigitte and Jeff are the most fantastic hosts, making sure all the guests feel at home. Their team is really lovely, attentive and have good positive energy. The bungalows are really well maintained, and so are all the facilities. The food is fantastic, there are delicious French crêpes or omelettes in the morning, fresh fruits on the table at all times, local fresh fish every day, freshly home baked cakes for dessert… Brigitte is always here to ask everyone if they need anything and it has been a joy and a privilege getting to know them as well as all the other guests. I had a severe ear infection and Brigitte went the extra mile organising my medication to be picked and delivered from Sorong when it wasn’t available anywhere else around Waisai. The excursions are also really well organised. We spend months doing research looking for this kind of owner-run place, and we were so happy to discover this gem :) we feel so lucky that we were able to stay here given this place is usually fully booked well in advance. Great view of the sea from on high. Nice deck to sit at. Steven, a staff member, helps with whatever you need. The drink water has a hot & cold spigot. Cold water a treat in the tropics.

Indos Homestay-Raja Ampat se nachází v destinaci Besir v oblasti Papua Barat a nabízí balkon a výhled na hory. This homestay on Besir island is ideally located near several interests spots in Raja Ampat. The place is calm, only two cabins on the water, connected to a village full of charm. The utilities are on the beach, near the owner's house. It's very clean and has everything required to answer basic needs. Regarding the rooms, mosquito net on the bed, fan, electricity at night, blankets, hammock, sunbed and basic furnitures. All the meals (included in the reservation) are served to your cabin, they vary and are prepared by an great cook! So everything is tasteful and good. No connection except if you get a SIM card on arrival at Sorong's airport but deconnection is great. It's easy to communicate with the owner who speaks well English (rare in Raja Ampat) and he tries his best for you to have the best stay possible. Him and his family are super nice and welcoming while respecting your privacy. I came with a friend and we stayed 3 full days, we had an amazing time there and we can only recommend this place. All the activities we've done through them were memorable, we had a lot of fun. Have a good holiday there!
