We absolutely loved our stay! The place and the food were truly amazing - 10 out of 10. We’re already planning our next trip to the Leenane Hotel this summer. It’s also convenient to reach from Dublin without a car: take a train to Westport and then the 423 bus (be sure to check the bus schedule in advance; the bus stop is at Mill st). The rooms offer a stunning view of the fjord!

A fantastic place to stay, very friendly owner, Pat, and lovely staff. The hotel is warm, welcoming and pet friendly too. The room was spacious and clean with a big, comfortable bed and even an outdoor deck. It was a perfect base to set off from for a couple of days exploring the island, always full up on a good breakfast provided by the Dolphin first, of course.

Just superb in every way. Sinners in tbe “greenhouse” were exquisite. This is my favorite place to stay in all of Ireland. The location is amazing, nestle in a cove by the fjords is an idyllic setting. Service, food, people very friendly and welcoming, the best thing for me was the peat fire burning In guests areas and the lobby.
