The room was very beautiful. The beds were very comfy. They had a small table and chairs outside the room were you can have coffee/breakfast! The kitchen was very good and they provided plates/pans etc... The room was also very clean. The price is very reasonable of what they offer! It is located a few minutes again from the city - you just cross a bridge! It is a perfect stop if you are planning to visit East Iceland - which is the most beautiful area in Iceland! We had a very good stay there! Well done to the owners!

Have stayed here three times now - just a lovely little guesthouse in a nice location, great wifi, great value. The owner is lovely (and knits wonderful lopapeysas too which are for sale!). There are two modern bathrooms for 4 rooms and a kitchen/living room area for self-catering. Also great breakfast available as an extra. Washing machine too! Great quiet location for exploring east Iceland - not far from Stuðlagil canyon, the puffins at Borgarfjörður-Eystri, and Hengifoss.

Great hostel bar and cafe with a small soup and dessert menu. The hostel had ample bathrooms and showers and was in a great location for exploring the surrounding area! We wish we would have booked a second night on our ring road trip to see more of East Iceland! Kitchen was a little small for the capacity of the dorms, but we still didn’t have any problems making dinner or breakfast. There is an open space living room and big back porch to socialize!

The house is right outside the town of Egilsstadir, very easy to find. We were met by a very friendly owner and his two lovely dogs. He was extremely helpful and the house was truly a gem! Decorated with old-style furniture, but very cosy, clean and it has a hot tub outside with an amazing view! We wish we could have stayed longer and can definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to spend time at East Iceland!

This cottage is my favorite place during my 14 day trip in iceland. It's a lovely house located in the middle of a field, with great view and cute horsies! I love the hot tub and homey decoration of the place. Would consider rebook if I ever visit northeast Iceland again.

Fabio on reception was brilliant, he helped us out with bags and our room. Really great public swimming pool a short walk away. East Iceland museum also next door. Short walk into centre of town for great pizza and hotel restaurant great too.

Our stay at this place was excellent. Lady at the reception was kind and helpful. Landscape around the area is stunning, we even saw northern lights . The hot tub was a plus to say it was our favourite accomodation in South East Iceland ❤️

the location: an hidden real Icelandic landscape in a real Icelandic house. the absolute kindness of the staff! Clean and comfortable, also in the common spaces. Fossardalur is a very beautiful area of East Iceland that worth a visit!

Excellent resort in a beautiful small village in East Iceland. Spacious, very clean rooms with fully equipped kitchen and modern decoration. The resort offers spa facilities. The staff was polite and very friendly, especially Nicol.

This is a lovely renovated Bank building in the heart of Seydesfjordur, a very charming fjord town in Northeast Iceland. We loved the room. It was very comfortable with a very nice bathroom with a shower.

Beautiful property. Modern and clean. Easy to find, yet has a very secluded feel. Close to town, and a great launching point for any East Iceland adventure. Awesome views of the lake on one side

Stunning location, a perfect place to watch the northern lights. You can make a late check-in. A mini kitchen with a fridge. A great value for money on east Iceland. Staff are extremely nice.

Beautiful location right on the water in East Iceland. The room was perfect for our family of 5. Cozy beds, well appointment bathroom. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Free entrance to the public pool. Staff was very helpful. The view from the room to the fjord was very nice.
