Offering an outdoor pool, garden and a restaurant, Jannat House is located in Lamu Old Town. It is situated a short walk away from the Waterfront and the Main Road. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Everything about Jannat House was awesome. The pool was so nice to cool off in the HOT Lamu climate. Honestly, I dont think we could have survived the heat without the pool. The service was amazing. We felt so welcomed. Like a home away from home. The chef provided an impromptu cooking class to show up how to cook the fish we caught. Carol provided good advice and has a reputation for being a good, honest, and caring manager. There are alot of areas to lounge in the shade. Its quiet but close to everything. When we come back to Lamu, this is the only place we will stay due to our warm, lovely experience. THANK YOU!!

The place is incredibly peaceful. I especially liked the design and interior. The whole team is amazing! Very friendly, attentive and always willing to help and make your stay memorable. The whole area is spot on clean. We had the most wonderful stay! I highly recommend Lamu house to everyone who is looking for a calm and relaxed place combining luxury and laid back atmosphere. We can’t wait to be back ❤️

We weren't sure where to stay in Shela with all of the incredible options, so decided to listen to the reviews combined with the price point and pick this place. We were so pleased with our stay: beds are v comfortable, the multi-storied building allows nice breeze in, the terrace is an absolute dream. The breakfast was so good with fresh fruit, pastries, bread, banana pancakes, and swahili tea. We were looking at the island's more expensive offers and don't feel that we missed out at all. This felt like the perfect mix of affordability, comfort, and relaxation. It was also so much more peaceful than would have been directly on the beach. They clean everything daily so it's sparkiling. It's incredibly comfortable.

The host Martin is an amazing host. He showed us all the good spots in lamu old town. When something was wrong with the appartement he had it fixed or had someone come in seconds. The view from the balcony is stunning. Really recommend!

The accommodation itself is immaculate—spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with breathtaking views. The terrace with Swahili-style couches was a perfect spot to unwind, soak in the scenery, and enjoy the sea breeze. We also felt safe and at ease throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious with fresh juices and fruits that added a refreshing touch to our mornings. Abdalla, the owner, was quite helpful and communicative. He provided us with useful recommendations, arranged our boat transfers to and from Manda Airport, and even booked a stunning sunset dhow cruise. Emmanuel, who manages the place, was always ready to assist whenever needed, ensuring our stay was smooth and comfortable.
