I felt at home and comfortable. The staff were amazing including the night time security, Joseph, who kept us company and shared his story while we stayed up past midnight. Mathu the manager checked in with us when we didn’t arrive on time for our booking and he responded quickly to messages. The supervisor was exceptionally helpful and got us almost anything we requested for our meals. Thambu illam brings you a feeling of being in your ancestral home and the little details they paid attention makes it even magical. We will definitely come back here to stay with our family on our next trip.

Humming Birds Suites se encuentra en Jaffna, a 1,7 km de Jaffna Public Library, y ofrece alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. We stayed is a large, cool and beautifully clean room. Bed comfortable and sheets soft. Great to come back to a big cool shower after the hot walks aground Jaffna. Easy to find and well located. Neighbour has a Tuk Tuk so lifts can be arranged or PickMe works well.

The absolute best hotel by far I have stayed at for the last 7 weeks here in Sri Lanka. We treated ourselves and stayed in the lovely Northgate steps from train station. The rooms were huge, modern super clean with everything you need. Service was exceptional! A shout out to our amazing room service person: Kajinthiran, who made our room perfect everyday. I love his many towel animals he made for us. Another shout out to Kajeepan who attended to our needs at the bar/restaurant. The managers were very friendly always making sure we were happy. One of the manager even tried to arrange a cooking demo for me with the chef at the hotel restaurant. The food at the hotel restaurant was most delicious too. We also loved the fact that it was close to another bar and other great restaurants nearby. It was worth every penny!

We had a most amazing stay at The Thinnai. The property is well maintained with lovely garden, the restaurant has fantastic dinner options, the breakfast buffet is plentiful, the suite is tastefully decorated, the personnel is very welcoming. Strongly recommended!
