Mandara Resort is located in the south of Sri Lanka, about 37 km from Yala National Park. This tropical resort comes with an outdoor pool, 24-hour room service and free Wi-Fi in its public areas. It’s an amazing property located within the center of Kataragama and surrounded by serene gardens. Ideal location for a family retreat and we throughly enjoyed our stay . Hotel staffs are absolute gem and very courteous who ensured every aspect of our stay are closely followed up and supported . Breakfast was amazing and had many varieties and the swimming pool was large and had a big area for kids which made my daughter extremely an happy guest .

Waking up to the sound of flowing water was incredibly calming and made the whole experience feel serene and refreshing. The service was warm and attentive, with the staff going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their hospitality really made a difference and added a personal touch to the stay. That said, a little extra attention to maintenance would take this place from great to exceptional. Some areas could use a bit of upkeep to match the overall charm of the property. But honestly, it didn’t take away much from the experience—we still had a fantastic time. Highly recommended for couples, solo travelers, or anyone looking to unwind close to nature!
